Joelle Hoverson's Last Minute Patchwork and Quilted Gifts

I recently borrowed Joelle Hoverson's Last Minute Patchwork and Quilted Gifts from our library through interlibrary loan and tried two of the projects, "Peanut, the Wee Elephant" and the receiving blankets.  It is a fun book.  The ideas are all fairly simple, but therefore also fun and easy to whip together.  The directions are straight forward and easy to follow.   See my projects here:

I  love, love, love this book! I too borrowed it from my library. However, I think I am going to have to buy my own copy.

I love her directions in the back for general patchworking & sewing . They are very detailed, so perfect for the beginner. Although some of the projects are more complecated, I reccommend this book for beginners because of the directions in the back.
