Free Handbag patterns?

    Free Handbag patterns?

    Hi everyone! Now Im new to all this blogging / forums and sewing so pls bare with me! I am wondering if anyone knows if there are any free handbag patterns available anywhere. I like the sling  :-\style of Amy Butlers "Birdie" or "Frenchy" bag - www.amybutlerdesign.com . Thanks so much for you patience while I fumble my way through!!!!

        It's not a sling bag pattern, but I have absolutely loved making this square-bottomed purse pattern:

        I have been using upholstery swatches to make these purses (I've made at least 8 or 9 now!)... I've got photos of a few at this URL:

                I have two boxes of Ethan Allen upholstery swatches in my basement and this would be a great way to use some of them.  Thanks for sharing.
