Stabilizer for hand embroidery?
on: February 04, 2009, 02:35:58 PM
I want to try to hand embroider some cute designs on T shirts for my granddaughters. What is the best stabilizer to use on the back? Do I cut it away when I am finished? Thanks.

I've used light weight fusible interfacing for things like this. As long as you use a light weight you just iron it on and leave it there... stable enough for the hand stitching but not so thick as to be irritating on the inside of the shirt.
