Anyone started their doll quilt top yet?!

I got all that done (above) in an hour (naptime) and in another 20-30 min got the stippling done (after the kids went to bed).  This is only the 2nd time I've ever stippled!  I'm totally addicted.





Now I have a week left to get the binding done before the birthday party.  I don't know how long it will take me to hand finish it all the way around with three little boys running around at home.

Wow, jenmbarnes-- I love the stippling...  Everyone's done such a great job with the free-motion quilting!  I'm still working on mine and I only have one little boy running around at home.

I finished mine yesterday. I'm new at sewing, and the stipling and binding were challenging, but I had a lot of fun!! Thanks for the opportunity to learn!  All of the quilts posted are beautiful... 

Oh these all look so good! Beth I love the additional border! And Katie the buttons are so cute.  Both are so nice!

I just started a little Dolls Quilt for my daughter. I have used fabric from my favourite local designer - Prints Charming.

A little bit of hand quilting and project will be completed.

I really hope to start my quilt soon. I'm hoping for some new fabric to go with my daughter's bedspread. This is going to be fun!

I actually fiinshed mine on time! It's one of the first projects I've actually finished - although it's not a little quilt, my mum looked at the work in progress, I'd commented that I wasn't sure what to do with it at the end, and she made note that there was a patchwork cushion in her kitchen that needed a makeover... It turned out the quilt top was a perfect fit! So! Not only was it my first attempt at quilting, but also my first time for putting a zip in too. It's only now that I've gotten around to putting the photos on the computer.
