In Stitches aprons **with new matching potholder**

In Stitches aprons **with new matching potholder**
    on: February 08, 2009, 05:37:19 PM
I got Amy Butler's In Stitches for Christmas and just made the Short Pleated Apron for a friend's birthday.

I liked this one so much, I made a yellow on for myself!  And the yellow one is mostly Morning Glory in Mustard, from Amy Butler's Lotus collection.

Believe it or not, the fancy bow in the back was tied by my fiance.  He's a keeper.  So is the apron pattern.  They're incredibly cute, and the second one went so much faster than the first.  I can see many more of these aprons in my future.

I finally made the matching Square Pot Holder in the same fabric & also from "In Stitches."

I'm liking your apron style but don't you splatter your top half with flour/lemon juice etc. or am I just the clumsy one?

Thanks for the kind words, everyone!  And comfortstitching, I am a clumsy one, too. I should probably save this apron for serving food I've already cooked or for making splatter-free foods.  I can't use a mixer without a full-coverage apron.

I added pictures of the matching potholder I just finished to the original post.  I think they make a cute set!
