Anybody else enjoy smocking?

I'm new to the boards here and trying to read posts here and there and learn my way around. I haven't found anything related to smocking yet so I thought I'd ask if anyone else enjoys this sort of sewing?

I do most of my garment sewing for my kids and my very favorite is smocked dresses for my girls. Its hard to find other people, even other people who sew a lot, who like to work smocking.

I enjoy LOOKING at it.  Does that count?  It is one of the skills that I would love to acquire....  Will you share pictures of the dresses?

Smocking really isn't isn't as difficult as it looks so if you're interested I encourage you to learn how.

Hi there!  I learned to smock this summer and absolutely love it.  I've posted some pics down in "Look what I've made!"  Your sewing is gorgeous.  Nice to meet a fellow smocker!
