"Bunny Bag" for Easter

    "Bunny Bag" for Easter
    on: March 04, 2009, 01:45:26 PM
I devised a girly little bag for my 3 year old daughter to carry on Easter.  It matches the dress that I finished up a couple of weeks ago.  I had fun with this one and she really loves it.  I didn't have the foresight to measure out the fabric or to take pictures as I made it but I did make a pattern as I went in case I wanted to make another at some point.  I put the pattern and directions on my blog in case it strikes anyone's fancy.

The bag is so nice!  I love the bunny ears poking out of the pocket.  Beth

That is DARLING!  Did the felt stand upright on its own, or did you have to add reinforcement at all?

It did stand upright on its own.  I think that the double layer (white and then pink) combined with the tight zig zig probably helped.  I also made sure that the ears were stuck into the pocket about an half inch.

How adorable!!!  I am loving the beautiful smock you made even more!  I am inspired to go find the floor in my craft room and do something in there now!
