Dress a Girl Around the World volunteers transform pillowcases, sheets, and donated fabric remnants into dresses for impoverished girls. In the last year they have delivered over 12,000 dresses to 34 countries.

The 400 Dresses Project

Proceeds from The 400 Dresses Project will help to drill a water well for one of the poorest areas in Uganda. This well will help to prevent 80% of the diseases that afflict the over 13,000 people who will have access to the clean water.

Little Dresses for Africa

Little Dresses for Africa distributes simple pillowcase dresses to orphanages in Central Africa to spread hope to little girls.

What you can do: spread the word, sew dresses, donate money or materials.

Stitching Hope

Stitching Hope exists to raise funds to send to Haiti in
response to the January 12, 2010 earthquake that
devastated Port-au-Prince and surrounding areas. Money made by selling handmade quilts and other sewn items goes to Heifer International to use in post-quake rebuilding and recovery efforts.
