Great Skirt for a Beginner! By: PunkRizz on 02/28/2011 10:02:22 AM This was the first sewing project I ever did, and I loved it! The instructions were very clear and detailed. I've made three skirts from this pattern and plan to make more this summer. They're cute and easy to put together. No enclosures, just an elastic waist band. I agree with the other reviewer that the sizes tend to be large. Adjust accordingly. |

CUTE! By: Sally on 02/24/2011 12:16:08 AM Having taught this pattern many times in class, I can say it is very cute on everyone! The directions can be hard for beginning sewists to decipher and the waistband is quite unique. The elastic in the back of the waistband and the flat front makes it flattering and easy to fit. It runs a little big. Use your hip measurement to choose your size and if you are between sizes, choose the smaller size. (Sizes 4-22 are in the envelope.) |
