The Erica Bag PDF pattern is an original design by Rebeka Lambert. This one strap, medium size shaped shoulder bag can be made from all one fabric or two contrasting fabrics (yardage requirements are given for both). This PDF pattern includes full size pattern pieces along with detailed illustrated instructions.

Materials:
1/3 yard fabric A
1/4 yd fabric B (or 1/2 yd total for exterior from 1 fabric)
1/2 yd lining fabric
1 yd heavyweight sew in interfacing
1 package piping or 2 yds (optional)
1/2" button

Finished Size: 13.5" wide x 8" tall x 2.25" deep (34cm x 20cm x 6cm)

Lovely Erica

Pros: Great size handbag, well written instructions, fun and quick to make.

Cons: button/loop closure tedious to use

This is a great pattern for transitioning from beginner to advanced beginner/intermediate. The only thing I don't love is the button/loop closure, which really isn't a huge deal. I found it much easier and more accurate to use full size pattern pieces, as opposed to the half pieces.
