Japanese Squares is an original design which is made from an elegantly simple block. The vibrant yet minimalist design of indigo blue squares floating gently in a calm field of tan, highlighted with ribbons of red, will make a beautiful and functional focal point for many a bedroom; leaving a sense of lasting calm and cool serenity.
Finished Quilt Size: 80" x 80" or 200 cm x 200

The design can be easily adapted to whatever size, shape or color-way you desire.
All fabric measurements are based on 44" or 112 cm wide fabric.

Material Required:
Quilt Top:
- Tan Background fabric: 3 1/2 yards or 3.2 m.
- 4 x Blue Pattern fabric: 1/2 yard or 50 cm of each.
Quilt Borders:
- Tan Background fabric: 1 3/4 yards or 1.7 m.
- Red 1 1/8 yards or 1.2 m (The borders are cut & sewn from WOF strips)
Quilt Backing: 5 yards or 4.6 m
Binding: Blue Pattern Fabric 2/3 yard or 60 cm (for straight grain-double fold binding 2 1/4" wide) Batting: 88" x 88" or 220 cm x 220 cm
