Patricia Tunic ~ Sis Boom PDF Sewing Pattern

Named for Jennifer's mother, the Patricia Tunic is cool, comfortable, and elegant. It is just as perfect for lounging by the water as it is for running errands or going out for an evening on the town. Wear with cropped white pants, jeans, or even a sweet skirt. With lots of sleeve, length, and finishing options, you can create a range of looks for yourself and your friends. The figure flattering design makes one feel terrific! Separate straight sleeve and bell sleeve patterns are provided for each size. The bell sleeves have multiple cutting lines to make a range of lengths, and can be finished with a hem or a contrasting facing. The straight sleeve has multiple long cutting lines, and additional cutting lines for short and cap length. The straight sleeve is finished with a hem. The neckline is finished with a facing, which can be made from a contrasting fabric and placed on outside of the garment. It can be made in a range of depths, and sweet ribbon ties or a little button/loop fastener can be added.

Once you've made your purchase, you will be sent an email which contains instructions for downloading this pdf pattern.

Fabulous pattern!

Pros: PDF-Print your size

Cons: I don't like to hem until the end.

I've just completed my third tunic and I must say I've got it now! The vents gave me some problems but I am a novice so once an experienced seamstress showed me the way it was easy peasy. This dress/top definitely runs large. My bust measure 37" so I made the medium and it was way to big. The small is perfect. I modified the neckline (the instructions for the neckline were wonderful). I plan to make quite a few more of these for myself. I used quilting cotton but am going to use voile next.

One of my favorites

Pros: Versatile, sizing, flattering design

Cons: tiny rolled hems can be challenging on neckline and side vents, easy to burn fingers with the iron!

This is a great pdf pattern for any level of sewist. It has a huge variety of sizes, and the plus sizes are actually accurate and fit according to the size chart, which is hard to find. The variations given help you make the tunic fit your style/shape and create a flattering tunic in a long afternoon or weekend.
