This original purse pattern was designed by Rebeka Lambert. Inspired by Dresden Plate quilt blocks handed down from her grandmother, the idea evolved into a bag. Moving beyond the piecing, once the round yoke portion of the bag was viewed as a blank canvas, the ideas started flowing. Pieced or solid, you can customize the round yoke for a truly unique look. You can add trims, appliques, monograms, or fabric flowers - the sky is the limit! This pattern includes full size pattern pieces along with illustrated instructions. Pattern pieces for a solid yoke and a pieced yoke are both included.

Skill Level: advanced beginner to intermediate

Materials:
1/2 yard fabric for exterior
1/2 yard fabric for lining
1/2 contrasting fabric for round yoke insert, straps, and pocket(s)
1 yard 44" wide heavy-weight fusible interfacing
1 yard 27" sew-in interfacing (optional)
1 magnetic snap

Finished Size: 16" wide x 11" tall x 5" deep (41cm x 28cm x 13cm)
