Shipping
- We ship using USPS First Class, Priority Mail and International Priority Mail.
- The rates are calculated based on the combined weight of the products in your shopping cart.
- Packages will be shipped either First Class Mail, while those over .80 lb. will be shipped Priority Mail. If your order qualifies for First Class, but you would like it shipped Priority, please contact orders@sewmamasew.com.
- Whenever possible, we will put your domestic or international order in a flat-rate box or envelope. We can get quite a bit into these packages (see the table below.)
- Because flat-rate envelopes are less expensive that boxes, we will split large orders into multiple envelopes.
- We can not assume responsibility for lost or damaged packages. In the event of non-delivery, we will do what we can to help you locate the package by providing label numbers, delivery confirmation information and customs details. We will not reship or refund a lost or damaged package. It is your responsibility to file a claim with the post office.
- If you would like to purchase insurance for your order, please contact orders@sewmamasew.com.
- We will not falsely claim that an order is a gift on a customs form.
- Most international orders take 7--10 days to arrive in the destination country, and may then take a few additional days to be delivered to your home.
- Shipping charges do not include customs fees to international destinations.
- If shipping was significantly less than what you paid, we will adjust your order before we process your credit card and/or refund your paypal account. We charge actual rates

Books ship from the warehouse, not our shop, so if you order both fabric and books, you'll receive two packages.
