We have another event to share in our Go + Sew series, featuring modern sewing conferences and retreats. We want you to hear about the events in time to actually plan and attend! Today Pamela Cardwell tells us about QuiltBLISS, a winter event held in beautiful (snowy!) Utah.

The Event: QuiltBLISS
QuiltBLISS is a premier quilting retreat and is hosted by the Utah County Modern Quilt Group. Plan to meet new friends, learn new skills and relax in some of the most beautiful scenery in Utah.

What does a typical day look like?
QuiltBLISS has a little something for everyone. Eight wonderful classes are being offered ranging in topics from scraps, paper piecing, fabric dying, creative time, applique and more. The Sewing Room, sponsored by Dave’s Bernina, will be open from 10:30 a.m. to well past midnight each night. We also have two guest lectures and two trunk shows scheduled for Friday and Saturday. Look on the QuiltBLISS site for a complete schedule of the weekend events.

Our goal at QuiltBLISS is to allow the attendee to make their own schedule. With optional classes, free sew time, trunks shows and lectures the attendees can be as busy or relaxed as they want to be. For a complete schedule of the weekend click here.

QuiltBLISS has an incredible line-up of teachers and speakers, and each teacher/speaker will be teaching topics of their own expertise: Sherri McConnell, Sarah Wright, Amy Smart, Amanda Woodruff, Leigh Hansen, Anna Morrison, Jeanette Hartvigsen, Kristin Barrus, Emily Sessions.
