Gia creates beautiful handmade flower accessories, bags, bracelets and more which she then sells in her Fairytale Flowers and One Perfect Day shops. Based in Athens, Greece, Gia blogs at OnePerfectDay where she shares her love of fabric and her latest designs.

Gia writes, “I am the owner and creator behind the Fairytale Flowers shop which offers all sorts of flower accessories, for all sorts of occasions. I’m a long-time crafting addict with an obsession for fabric and all kinds of sewing paraphernalia; I also have a crush on all things vintage.

My love affair with fabric flowers started a couple of years ago when my sister found a tutorial on how to make organza flowers on the internet. I was instantly hooked and since then I’ve been fairly consumed with making them in all possible variations. I am constantly making new flowers, discovering new fabric and experimenting with style and form.

Lately I find myself drawn to researching old methods and techniques of flower making, something that never interested me before. As an extension, I have been discovering a fascination for millinery. No doubt this new-found interest will slowly find its way into my flower accessories and I can’t wait.

Running an online business, having a day job and being a mother means that I’m left wishing for more hours in the day but it also makes me very thankful that I am blessed with so much and that I get to do the things that make me happiest.”
