Hi, I’m Sarah, the indie pattern designer behind Dolls And Daydreams®. I specialize in fun and easy, step by step photo tutorial patterns so even beginner sewists will be able to make dolls and softies just like mine! With over 200 sewing and embroidery machine doll patterns you can tell I’m a child at heart!

I’m originally from England, UK and now live in Sunny Arizona, USA, with my beautiful children as my daily source of inspiration. If I can teach them anything, it’s that daydreams do come true!

My life took an unexpected turn in 2010 when the Haiti Earthquake hit, orphaning thousands of children. I organized a doll drive for the children using an easy free doll pattern I designed, and the response was amazing! Through this wonderful work I met so many beautiful ladies from all over the world and received lots of requests for more designs; thus Dolls And Daydreams® was born.

My work is heavily influenced by “Japanese Kawaii Cute;” in essence, my dolls and softies are portioned like a toddler with oversized heads with little bodies. I just love that look and kids do to! You can’t help but smile when you sew them up and my heart melts every time I see my kids hugging one of my new dolls! Need some inspiration making a doll? Pop by my Facebook Group for tips and tricks and lots of dolly making fun!

Hugs and Happy Sewing!
