Quilt Market Snapshots: Cloud9 Fabrics

The Cloud9 booth at Quilt Market was full of gorgeous samples of current and coming-soon collections. Michelle also gave me a peek at what’s on the way in the next 6 months. In addition to their already impressive array of organic substrates–quilt-weight cotton, sheeting, flannel, broadcloth, canvas, and voile, they’ll be adding a wonderful barkcloth, which will be perfect for home dec projects. Be sure to take a close look at the Cirrus solids. They’re yarn-dyed in beautiful colors that coordinate with many of the Cloud9 collections.

Art Gallery Fabrics has become a more significant presence at Quilt Market every season. Last weekend I had the pleasure of attending the 38th annual Sisters Outdoor Quilt Show. This amazing event is sponsored and organized by the infamous Stitchin’ Post Quilt Shop, owned and operated by Jean and Valori Wells.
