Streetwear suits fall better than any other season, because it is built on layers: a tee under a hoodie under a jacket, with room to peel each one off. The hard part is volume. Oversized bombers, loose jeans and cargo pants look sharp when one piece is roomy and another is fitted, and sloppy when everything is big at once. Every outfit below is a complete look for school, a casual workday, shopping or a weekend, and I've noted where to adjust the rise, hem or jacket length so the proportions suit your frame. They run from mild September afternoons to colder November days.

Big on Top or Big on the Bottom, Rarely Both
Almost every outfit here mixes one oversized piece with one fitted piece. That balance is what separates streetwear that looks deliberate from clothes that look a size too big. When I put these looks together, I decide first where the volume goes.
- Loose bottoms, like baggy jeans, cargos or wide trousers, want a fitted or cropped top so your waist still shows.
- An oversized top, like a hoodie, bomber or boxy jacket, wants straight or slim pants underneath.
- If you love both pieces loose, add one point of definition: a front tuck, a cinched jacket hem or a belt.
- Shoes carry weight too. Chunky sneakers and platforms balance wide hems; slim sneakers can look lost under a puddle hem.
Shorter frames usually do best keeping the volume in one place and the hem lengths tidy. Taller frames can carry two relaxed pieces at once. In both cases, the shoulder seam is my first check on any oversized top: a dropped shoulder should look designed, landing a few inches past your own shoulder, not halfway to your elbow.
1. Fall Swag Outfit With Baggy Jeans

Baggy jeans are where most fall streetwear starts, and the fitted top is what keeps them from swallowing you. A ribbed top close to the body shows your shape while the denim does the relaxing. I'd pick a high or mid rise so the jeans sit at the waist rather than slipping. Black, faded gray or medium wash all pair well with an oversized bomber when it gets cold. Hem length matters more here than with slim jeans: petite women look better with a slightly cropped leg, while taller women can carry a longer puddle hem over chunky white sneakers.
2. Fall Swag Outfit With Cargo Pants

Cargo pants give you room to move, and the pockets add the utility detail that makes them look like streetwear rather than plain trousers. Olive, tan, charcoal or black in a straight or relaxed cut is the easy route. A cropped hoodie or a close-fitting long-sleeve sits on top, and a boxy denim jacket adds warmth. If you'd rather not show midriff, a tucked bodysuit does the same job of defining the waist. Platform sneakers balance the wide legs. I'd keep the pockets mostly empty; a phone in each thigh pocket pulls the fabric down and makes the leg look lumpy.
3. Fall Swag Outfit With Oversized Hoodie

The difference between a hoodie that looks styled and one that looks like loungewear is fabric weight. A heavyweight cotton fleece holds its shape around the hood and hem, while thin hoodies cling and sag. Heather gray, burgundy, forest green or washed black all work. I'd choose one that ends around the upper thigh, then pair it with black straight jeans or coated leggings. The longline trench on top is the move that makes this outfit: worn open, it adds two long vertical lines down the front. Retro sneakers, crew socks and a roomy tote finish it.
4. Fall Swag Outfit With Denim Jacket

A roomy denim jacket is one of the few streetwear pieces almost everyone already owns. Wear a medium-wash or faded black one over a fitted mock-neck, then add relaxed cargo jeans or wide-leg trousers. Because both the jacket and pants are loose, the fitted mock-neck is doing the balancing work, so don't swap it for something baggy. Platform sneakers suit dry days; lace-up combat boots handle rain. Rolling the sleeves once shows your wrists and lightens the shape. A small nylon bag and a silver chain keep the accessories simple.
5. Fall Swag Outfit With Leather Jacket

A leather jacket over a plain white tee or fitted turtleneck brings an edge that nothing else in a casual wardrobe quite matches. An oversized biker or bomber, real or faux leather, looks most current right now. Loose blue jeans soften it; black ankle boots sharpen it. Leather jackets are unforgiving at the shoulder, so I check that seam before anything else. If an oversized cut overwhelms your frame, choose a cropped jacket with defined shoulders. Curvier figures often prefer a length that falls just below the waist, worn open. A burgundy shoulder bag adds fall color.
6. Fall Swag Outfit With Varsity Jacket

Varsity jackets look natural in fall because they were made for cold weather at games and on campus. A slightly oversized one in navy, green, brown or black goes over a fitted crew-neck tee and relaxed straight jeans. I'd keep logos and patches to the jacket alone so the outfit doesn't look like a uniform. Classic sneakers with visible crew socks continue the athletic theme, and a small structured bag gives contrast. The jacket should end near the hip; much longer and it loses its ribbed-hem shape. A denim midi skirt is a softer swap for the jeans.
7. Fall Swag Outfit With Puffer Vest

A puffer vest is the practical piece for days that are too cold for a tee and too warm for a coat. I'd layer a black, cream or olive vest over a fitted long-sleeve or a thin hoodie, with loose cargo pants underneath. Keep the base layers slim, since a thick sweater under a puffer vest bunches at the armholes and adds a lot of width across the torso. A shorter vest shows the waist; a longer one covers the hips. Chunky sneakers, hiking-style shoes or water-resistant boots work, plus a knit beanie on cold mornings.
8. Fall Swag Outfit With Plaid Shirt

An open plaid overshirt is the most recognizable fall layer in streetwear. Choose a relaxed flannel in brown, green, navy or burgundy and wear it over a fitted tank or long-sleeve. The size is the main thing I check: roomy enough to layer, but the sleeves should stop at the wrist bone, not cover your hands. Distressed straight jeans or loose black denim work underneath, and high-top sneakers fit the casual mood. If you want more waist, tuck the base layer into high-rise jeans. A beanie and a simple chain finish it.
9. Fall Swag Outfit With Matching Sweats

Matching sweats can look polished, but only when the set is well made and the outer layer is sharp. Stone, chocolate, navy or soft gray sets in a dense fleece look far better than thin, pilling ones. A structured trench or oversized wool coat over the top is what turns it from gym clothes into an outfit. Clean leather sneakers matter here; worn running shoes pull it back toward the gym. I'd choose joggers with a firm waistband and cuffs that sit at the ankle bone. Carry a structured tote or shoulder bag, not a duffel.
10. Fall Swag Outfit With Wide-Leg Trousers

Wide-leg trousers bring tailoring into streetwear without making it formal. Charcoal, black, chocolate or pinstripe trousers with a fitted graphic tee and a cropped bomber is a mix I like, because the short jacket balances the long trouser line. A high waist lengthens the legs; a mid rise looks more relaxed. Retro sneakers keep it street, while chunky loafers dress it up. The hem should just touch the top of the shoe. Trousers that drag at the back fray within weeks and look untidy long before they wear through.
11. Fall Swag Outfit With Mini Skirt And Boots

A mini skirt works into fall as long as the legs stay warm, which is where tights and boots come in. Pleated, cargo or denim minis all suit a fitted turtleneck and an oversized bomber. Opaque tights in the same color as your boots make the legs look continuous; sheer tights look lighter. Knee-high boots cover more leg, chunky ankle boots look tougher. A cropped bomber emphasizes the waist, while a longer one covers more. I'd look for boots with a stable, grippy sole. A knee-length skirt keeps the same formula if you prefer less leg.
12. Fall Swag Outfit With Denim Maxi Skirt

A denim maxi skirt is a good alternative to jeans, and the slit is the detail I check first. A front slit lets you take a normal stride and climb stairs; without one, a straight maxi forces short steps. A fitted long-sleeve tee tucked into the waist keeps the long skirt from swamping you, and a cropped puffer or varsity jacket goes on top. High-top sneakers are sporty; platform ankle boots add warmth. Petite women look best with an ankle-length hem, while taller women can let it skim the floor.
13. Fall Swag Outfit With Graphic Sweatshirt

A bold graphic sweatshirt is the focus here, so keep everything else plain. Vintage, collegiate, artistic or music-inspired prints all suit loose black jeans. A white tee underneath, with its hem showing an inch below the sweatshirt, adds a layer. Retro sneakers, a canvas tote and a cap in one of the print's colors tie it together. A loose front tuck into high-rise denim gives more shape. In extended sizes, I'd look for a thicker sweatshirt fabric that holds its own shape, since thinner jersey tends to cling around the middle.
14. Fall Swag Outfit With Trench Coat

A trench over streetwear basics is the easiest way to look put together on a lazy day. Wear a beige, olive or dark brown trench over a cropped sweatshirt and loose straight jeans, with chunky sneakers and a cap. The long coat gives one clean line, and the casual pieces underneath stop it looking formal. On colder days swap the cropped sweatshirt for a fitted hoodie. Tie the belt loosely behind your back when the coat is open so it doesn't trail. Petite women may prefer a knee-length trench; taller women can try ankle-grazing ones.
15. Fall Swag Outfit With Camouflage Pants

Camo pants are loud, so I treat everything else in the outfit as background. Relaxed camo cargos with a fitted black long-sleeve and an oversized black bomber keep the palette tight. Black-and-white sneakers and a compact belt bag or shoulder bag finish it, with small hoops and a plain cap rather than anything bold. If green camo feels like too much, gray, brown or tonal camo is quieter. Choose a cut that drapes smoothly through the leg; stiff camo cotton with big pockets adds bulk at the thigh. A tucked or cropped top defines the waist.
16. Fall Swag Outfit With Corduroy Pants

Corduroy is one of my favorite fall fabrics for streetwear because the texture does the work a print would otherwise do. Wide or straight cords in chocolate, rust, forest green or camel go with a fitted neutral tee and an oversized denim jacket. Fine-wale cord looks smoother and dressier; wide-wale looks more retro and adds a bit of visual bulk, which is worth knowing if you're petite. Retro sneakers keep it sporty, platform loafers polish it. Corduroy wears shiny at the knees, so wash it inside out on a gentle cycle.
17. Fall Swag Outfit With Knit Dress And Sneakers

A knit midi dress with chunky sneakers turns a fairly dressy piece into something you'd walk all day in. Fitted or gently skimming dresses in charcoal, brown, black or olive work, with an oversized bomber or denim jacket for contrast. Crew socks add a youthful detail. A side slit matters on a fitted knit midi; without one, your stride is shorter than you'd expect. A belt bag worn at the waist adds definition if the dress is straight. Adjust the jacket length to your height so it ends at the waist or hip rather than mid-thigh.
18. Fall Swag Outfit With Flare Leggings

Flare leggings have a lot of athletic comfort but a longer line than regular leggings, because the flare covers part of the shoe. High-rise black or espresso pairs work with a fitted cropped tee, bodysuit or tucked long-sleeve, plus an oversized zip hoodie and long wool coat. Platform sneakers keep the hems off wet pavement. Fabric is the deal-breaker: I'd bend over in the fitting room and check for see-through, and pick a wide supportive waistband. A longer fitted top under the open hoodie gives full midsection coverage.
19. Fall Swag Outfit With Quilted Jacket

Quilted jackets are light and warm for mild fall days, and the stitching adds texture without any print. A boxy olive, cream, burgundy or black one over a fitted mock-neck works well. If the jacket is very oversized, I balance it with straight pants rather than wide ones; two wide shapes stacked look heavy. Relaxed blue jeans or utility pants both suit it. Chunky loafers with visible socks look modern, retro sneakers look sportier. A cropped quilted jacket shows the waist; a hip-length one gives more coverage and warmth.
20. Fall Swag Outfit With Brown Leather Bomber

A brown leather bomber with dark baggy jeans is a richer, warmer take on the classic black leather look. Wear it over a cream fitted sweater or white ribbed tee, then add burgundy sneakers or dark brown boots. Leaving the jacket open shows the light base layer, which keeps the dark pieces from looking heavy. The ribbed waistband should sit near your natural hip; if it rides up to your ribs, the jacket is too short for you. Brown leather also scuffs less visibly than black, which makes it a forgiving everyday jacket.
Why Some Hoodies and Tees Look Sloppy After Five Washes
Streetwear depends on basics, so the quality of a plain hoodie or tee matters more than it would in a dressier outfit. The main difference you can feel in a shop is fabric weight. Heavier cotton jersey and fleece hold a boxy shape and hang straight, while thin fabric clings and twists at the side seams after washing.
- Hold the garment up to the light. If you can easily see your hand through a tee, it will look thin on the body too.
- Check the ribbing at the cuffs and hem. Firm, springy rib holds its shape; loose rib stretches out and stays stretched.
- Look at the side seams. If they already twist toward the front on the hanger, they will twist more after washing.
- Wash hoodies and graphic tees inside out in cold water and skip the hot dryer. Heat shrinks cotton and cracks printed graphics.
Pilling is normal on fleece and blended knits, mostly under the arms and where a bag strap rubs. A fabric shaver removes it in a few minutes and makes an older hoodie look close to new again.
One Loud Piece, Everything Else Quiet
The rule I come back to with streetwear is simple: let one piece be the focus and keep the rest calm. That might be camo pants, a graphic sweatshirt, a leather bomber or a pair of loud sneakers, but rarely more than one at a time. Baggy denim, cargos, hoodies and trench coats all mix with each other, so you don't need a new wardrobe to wear any of these outfits. Pick one formula you already have most of, then adjust the colors, lengths and accessories until it fits your body and your week.
