Woody and Buzz are one of the easiest duos to read at a party, because each character owns a colour story the other never touches. Woody is yellow plaid, cow print, denim and a red bandana under a brown hat. Buzz is white with lime green and purple, plus wings and a wrist panel. I tell every pair to get those colour blocks right before spending anything on detail, since a room recognises the palette long before it notices a badge. Below are store-bought versions, closet builds, kids' and maternity takes, and options for hot or cold nights, so start with the one that matches where you'll actually be wearing it.

Small Details Fans Look For on Woody and Buzz
Most people recognise this pair from colour alone, but a handful of small details are what make fans of the films grin. I add as many of these as the build allows, working from the top of each list down, because the first items do the most work for the least effort.
On Woody
- A brown hat with a curled brim. A flat, stiff brim reads as a generic cowboy rather than this particular one.
- Cow print with irregular black patches on white. Round polka dots look like a Dalmatian from a few steps away.
- The pull-string ring on the back of the vest, roughly between the shoulder blades, so it shows when he turns around.
- A name written on the sole of one boot, the way the toy carries its owner's name.
On Buzz
- Lime green on the chest and thighs, with purple kept to the collar, hood and wrists. Purple spread everywhere starts to look like a different character.
- A wrist panel on the forearm with one red button. A painted bottle cap glued to a felt cuff does the job.
- Wings that stick straight out sideways, not down and back like an angel's. That horizontal line is the Buzz shape.
- The clear dome helmet is optional. It fogs up and muffles conversation, so most people leave it at home for a party.
1. Classic Buzz And Woody Costume

The full screen version is the one I'd build when both people want every detail. Woody gets the yellow plaid button-down, cow-print vest, jeans, red neckerchief, brown hat, big buckle, brown boots and a sheriff star, with the pull-string ring stitched to the back of the vest where the toy has it. Buzz needs a white jumpsuit or white separates with lime green and purple panels, foam wings, white gloves, a purple hood and white high-tops. The first thing I check is the green. A true lime reads as Buzz, while forest or olive makes him look like a generic astronaut. Keep the makeup light on both: a few warm freckles for Woody and a little silver shadow for Buzz.
2. DIY Buzz And Woody Costume

Making it yourself saves buying two full costumes, and homemade versions usually look warmer in photos. For Woody, a thrifted yellow shirt gets a red grid drawn on with fabric marker. I lay the shirt flat over cardboard and use a long ruler, because freehand lines start to wander by the second row. Black felt patches go on a white sleeveless vest, then add the red bandana, a cardboard badge and the hat. Buzz starts as a cheap white shirt and pants with green duct-tape panels and purple felt at the collar, cuffs and knees. Hang the cardboard wings from backpack straps rather than the shirt, or the weight drags the neckline backwards all night.
3. Last Minute Buzz And Woody Costume

With one evening to pull this together, raid the closet for colour first and shape second. Woody is a yellow flannel, jeans, brown boots and any brown wide-brim hat, with a red scarf at the neck and a paper star pinned to a white vest or sleeveless cardigan. Draw a few freckles and he's done. Buzz is a white sweatshirt and joggers striped with green and purple removable tape, white sneakers, gloves and a purple beanie or stretchy headband. Skip proper wings and tape two flat cardboard panels to a small white backpack. Test the tape on a hidden seam first, because some adhesives leave a sticky ghost on fleece that you'll be scrubbing the next morning.
4. Easy Closet Buzz And Woody Costume

I like this one for adults who don't want to buy anything they won't wear again. Woody is a mustard button-down or plaid shirt, mid-wash jeans, a white denim vest and brown Western boots, with black felt patches, a red neck scarf, a gold star pin and a tan hat. A braid or ponytail sits neatly under the brim. Buzz layers a bright green cropped vest or athletic tank over a white long-sleeve top and white jeans, with purple socks, wristbands and a headband. A white backpack with removable green paper panels stands in for the jet pack. Mustard is a fair substitute for Woody's yellow, but it pulls slightly brown under warm indoor bulbs, so pick the brightest one you own.
5. Adult Couple Buzz And Woody Costume

For a couple, fit is what separates a polished pair from two people in novelty suits. The Woody partner wears a fitted yellow plaid shirt, tailored jeans, a cropped cow-print vest, a leather-look belt, red bandana, hat and comfortable brown boots, with tidy waves or a side part and a few freckles over warm bronzer. The Buzz partner wears a fitted white utility jumpsuit with green waist panels, purple collar accents, foam wrist cuffs and removable wings, plus white high-tops for a long evening. I'd wear the purple hood pushed back so it frames the face without trapping heat. Then write each other's name on the sole of one shoe, the way Andy's name is on Woody's boot. Fans spot it the moment someone crosses their legs.
6. Best Friend Buzz And Woody Costume

Two friends can lean on the story behind these characters, since the whole film is about an unlikely friendship. Woody's side is a yellow checked shirt, denim overalls or jeans, cow-print vest, red bandana, sheriff badge, brown hat and lace-up boots, with a low ponytail and cheerful freckles. Buzz wears a white boiler suit customised with green fabric blocks, purple cuffs, control-panel patches and a soft wing backpack. Purple hair chalk rubs off onto collars, so on an all-white costume I'd choose the fitted hood instead. Supportive white sneakers matter if you're walking together all night. A cardboard friendship sign cut in half, one piece each, gives you a photo that only works when you stand side by side.
7. Women’s Buzz And Woody Costume

Two women can rework the duo in separates and keep every character cue. Woody pairs a yellow checked blouse with high-waisted denim shorts or jeans, a cropped cow-print vest, red neckerchief, tan hat and brown ankle boots, with loose curls or braids and delicate freckles. Buzz wears a white bodysuit and high-waisted white pants under a structured green corset-style vest, with purple cuffs and removable foam wings. White platform sneakers give height and still get you home. A purple-tipped bob wig or a sleek ponytail gives Buzz his rounded head shape from a distance. Keep the makeup family friendly with silver shadow, a graphic green liner and one small purple accent at each temple.
8. Men’s Buzz And Woody Costume

Men can look right in this pairing without a bulky molded suit. Woody is a yellow plaid Western shirt, straight jeans, cow-print vest, red bandana, brown belt, wide-brim hat and rugged boots, with a neat side part. Buzz starts with a fitted white coverall, or a white long-sleeve shirt and cargo pants, then adds green padded chest panels, purple fabric at the neck and cuffs, white gloves and slim backpack wings. A purple stretch hood hides the hair, or slick it back. On a men's coverall I place the chest panel higher than most people expect; it only reads as the toy's chest plate when it sits well above the belt. Small felt buttons on that panel make the character clear and add no weight.
9. Gender Swap Buzz And Woody Costume

Nobody has to be cast by gender here. A feminine Woody works in a yellow blouse, cow-print vest, denim midi skirt, red scarf, hat and brown boots, with braids, freckles and a cardboard pull-string ring. A masculine Buzz uses white cargo pants, a white compression shirt, a green utility vest, purple hood, foam wings, gloves and white sneakers. You can just as easily put the cowboy in tailoring and Buzz in a dress. What keeps each character readable is colour rather than silhouette, so protect the yellow, denim, red and cow print on one person and the white, green and purple on the other.
10. Kids Buzz And Woody Costume

Kids pull off anything that itches or pinches within the first hour, so I build both of these around soft clothes they'd happily wear to school. Woody gets a soft yellow checked shirt, elastic-waist jeans, a light printed vest, red bandana, flexible brown boots and a foam hat. A washable face crayon is plenty for freckles, and long hair should be tied back. Buzz wears a breathable white tracksuit with sewn or iron-on green and purple panels. Fabric wings on a small backpack are far better than rigid cardboard on a child, because cardboard gets crushed the first time they sit down or lean on a wall. Add white sneakers, soft gloves and a stretchy purple head covering, and leave off cords or anything oversized so they can see and move freely.
11. Toddler Buzz And Woody Costume

With toddlers, think pajamas with a costume on top. The Woody toddler wears a yellow plaid cotton shirt, pull-on denim pants, a cow-print vest, a red bib-style bandana, soft brown booties and a floppy fabric hat. Skip makeup, or dot two freckles with a washable pencil if they'll sit still. The Buzz toddler wears a white cotton romper or pajama set with green and purple fabric shapes stitched down rather than glued, because small fingers find a lifting edge and pull. Keep padded wings close to the back, add soft white shoes and a purple cotton cap, and leave the gloves off so they can hold snacks. Whatever you make has to open for a diaper change in under a minute. A plush horse and a soft rocket are the only props I'd hand a toddler.
12. Sibling Buzz And Woody Costume

Siblings get to be the real pair from the toy box, and the outfits can match in spirit without being twins. Woody wears a yellow plaid shirt, jeans or a denim skirt, cow-print vest, red neckerchief, foam sheriff badge, hat and brown boots, with braids or a side part and washable freckles. Buzz wears white leggings or joggers with a white top, green chest piece, purple collar, fabric cuffs and small backpack wings, plus white sneakers and a soft purple hood. Go easy on silver shimmer; on children it ends up on every cushion in the house. Each child's first name on a removable sticker under one shoe is the toy-box detail they'll actually show off to people.
13. Parent And Child Buzz And Woody Costume

I usually give the child the lighter character and let the adult carry the bulk. The parent's Woody has the full kit: yellow plaid shirt, cow-print vest, jeans, red bandana, a structured hat, badge, boots and a big pull-string prop. The child's Buzz is a soft white tracksuit with green and purple panels, a purple cap, white sneakers and compact padded wings, with a felt control panel instead of hard plastic buttons. If the child wants to be the cowboy, swap: an adult manages Buzz's wider wings and structured jumpsuit far better than a small person can. Warm peach tones on Woody's face and cool silver on Buzz's tie the two together in photos.
14. Plus Size Buzz And Woody Costume

A plus-size version should start from clothes the wearer already finds comfortable, with the character layered on top. Woody can take a relaxed yellow plaid tunic or button-down, stretch jeans, an open cow-print vest, red scarf, wide belt, hat and cushioned boots, with a defined curl or side braid. Buzz layers an open green utility vest over a white knit jumpsuit, or a white top and leggings, with purple stretch cuffs, a soft collar, foam wings and supportive sneakers. I put the control-panel patch high on the chest, where it shows above the vest and doesn't fold when you sit. Adjustable wing straps matter more than anything else here. Fixed elastic either digs in or slides off the shoulder by the second hour.
15. Maternity Buzz And Woody Costume

Pregnancy changes the brief: stretch, easy layers and steady shoes come before accuracy. The expecting parent can be Buzz in a soft white maternity jumpsuit, or a fitted white dress over leggings, with curved green and purple felt panels placed around the upper torso and never pressing on the bump. Fabric wings, a purple headband, silver shadow and supportive white sneakers keep it light. The partner's Woody uses the usual plaid shirt, cow-print vest, jeans, red bandana, hat, badge and boots. If the expecting parent would rather be Woody, a yellow maternity shirt dress with a cow-print vest and leggings works well. Leave out rigid belts, heavy backpacks and long hems, since balance shifts during pregnancy and a trailing hem on stairs is a real trip risk.
16. Warm Weather Buzz And Woody Costume

In heat, the Buzz side suffers first, because a full white suit with a hood holds warmth around the neck. Woody stays cool in a short-sleeve yellow checked shirt, denim shorts, a light cow-print vest, a cotton bandana, a straw-style hat and low ankle boots, with a ponytail or short waves. Buzz swaps the jumpsuit for a white moisture-wicking tee, white shorts, a green athletic vest, purple wristbands and light fabric wings, with a purple headband in place of the hood. Waterproof silver liner holds up to sweat far better than powder shadow. Skip thick foam padding on both of them. Foam traps heat against the body, and you'll want it off within the hour.
17. Cold Weather Buzz And Woody Costume

Cold nights are where these two characters are kind to you, because both palettes hide thermals well. Woody layers a thermal under the yellow plaid flannel, then a cow-print fleece vest, jeans, a red scarf, lined boots and a felt hat, with a low braid that fits under the brim. Buzz goes white on white: a thermal set under an insulated white jumpsuit, or a white puffer and snow pants, with green panels, purple gloves, a purple knit cap and soft wings fixed over the jacket. Tie or safety-pin the wings to the puffer rather than gluing them. Hot glue lets go in cold air, and on slick nylon it barely grips in the first place. Hand warmers and thick socks won't show at all.
18. Comfortable Buzz And Woody Costume

When you'll be in costume for hours, build from soft basics and let small details carry the characters. Woody's shirt can be a soft yellow tee with red checks drawn or printed on, worn with stretch jeans, a light cow-print vest, a red bandana, a bendable hat and brown sneakers that pass for boots. Buzz wears a white cotton tracksuit with sewn green and purple appliqués instead of tape, which peels at the knees and elbows after a few hours of bending. Small fabric wings on a compact backpack, a purple headband and soft cuffs finish him. Leave out stiff collars and tight gloves, and you'll both manage dancing, sitting and a long walk without fuss.
19. Budget Buzz And Woody Costume

Cheap costumes look finished when the colour sits in the right places. Woody needs a secondhand yellow shirt, jeans, a white vest with black felt spots, brown shoes, a red scarf and a painted cardboard badge, plus a thrifted brown hat and pencil freckles. Buzz can start with a white T-shirt and sweatpants from home, with green and purple poster board or felt panels pinned to the outer layer only, so no pin points toward skin. A small box cut into wings and strapped to an old backpack covers the rest. If there's money for just two things, I'd spend it on the hat and the wings, because those two shapes are what people recognise from across the street.
20. Thrifted Buzz And Woody Costume

Thrift shopping for this duo is half the fun, and slightly mismatched pieces look deliberately handmade. Look for Woody's mustard plaid shirt, straight jeans, a white vest, red scarf, oversized buckle, brown hat and worn-in boots. Fabric paint gives you the cow spots; I dab them on with a fairly dry brush so the edges stay soft and irregular rather than becoming neat circles. For Buzz, a white mechanic's coverall or tracksuit is the find to hope for, with a green vest over it and purple knit fabric at the neck, wrists and knees. A small backpack with cardboard wings and coloured tape becomes the jet pack. Wash every thrifted piece before you paint, so softener residue doesn't stop the paint from bonding.
21. No Sew Buzz And Woody Costume

You can skip the needle entirely here with fabric glue, adhesive felt and removable tape. Woody wears a yellow shirt, jeans, a white sleeveless vest, brown boots, red bandana and hat, with self-adhesive black felt spots on the vest and red fabric-tape lines across the shirt. Clip on a light badge and a cardboard pull-string ring. Buzz is a white top and white pants with precut green and purple adhesive felt, control buttons stuck to the green chest panel and cardboard wings taped to backpack straps. One honest warning: adhesive felt backing struggles on stretchy polyester and lifts at the corners. Let any fabric glue cure overnight and press every piece again before you leave the house.
22. Cardboard Buzz And Woody Costume

Cardboard gives you the chunky proportions of a toy for very little money. Build Woody's wide buckle, sheriff badge, pull string and boot-top panels from thin corrugated card wrapped in coloured paper, and wear them with the plaid shirt, cow-print vest, jeans, red bandana, hat and brown shoes. Buzz gets a white and green painted chest plate, layered control buttons, wrist cuffs, boot covers and big fold-out wings over a white long-sleeve shirt and pants, with purple fabric around the head. Run the corrugation lines vertically on the chest plate so it curves around the body instead of creasing. Round every corner, reinforce the straps with duct tape, and measure your narrowest doorway before you settle on a wingspan.
23. Felt Detail Buzz And Woody Costume

Felt is my favourite material for this duo because it cuts clean with ordinary scissors. Woody's yellow shirt gets thin red felt strips for the checks, and the white vest takes black felt spots, worn with jeans, brown boots, a red scarf, a felt star and a brown hat. Buzz starts with white leggings and a white sweatshirt, then green felt chest panels, purple collar and cuff pieces, multicoloured buttons and padded felt wings. A purple fabric cap, white sneakers and a foam wrist communicator round him out. Cheap acrylic craft felt pills and stretches, so for wings or anything that gets handled a lot, I buy wool-blend felt, which holds a crisp edge. Hand-tack each piece at the corners even when you've glued it.
24. Hoodie Buzz And Woody Costume

Hoodies are the answer for school events and for anyone who hates fussing with a costume. Woody wears a yellow plaid hoodie under a cow-print vest, with jeans, a red bandana, brown sneakers or boots and a soft hat, plus a badge and pull-string ring. Buzz uses a white zip hoodie with green chest panels, purple trim and felt controls, worn with white joggers, white sneakers, purple gloves and small fabric wings stitched to the back. Edge the hood in purple fabric and, raised, it suggests his head covering surprisingly well. The real advantage is that hats, wings and outer layers come off in seconds when someone needs a break.
25. Pajama Buzz And Woody Costume

Pajamas suit relaxed family parties and very young kids. Woody wears a yellow plaid pajama top with denim-look lounge pants, a fleece cow-print vest, a red neck scarf, a fabric hat and brown slipper boots, and those slippers need nonslip soles if anyone is walking on hard floors. Buzz is a white pajama set with green and purple felt panels, soft buttons and light padded wings, plus purple socks or a sleep cap and a small silver eye accent. Leave robes and blankets out of it; trailing fabric catches feet on stairs. Name labels on the bottoms of the slippers carry the toy-box joke all the way to bedtime.
26. Dress Buzz And Woody Costume

Two coordinated dresses can carry every detail of these characters. The Woody dress has a yellow checked bodice and denim skirt with a cow-print vest layered on top, a red bandana, star badge, brown belt, hat and ankle boots, plus braids and freckles. The Buzz dress pairs a fitted white top with a structured green waist and a white or purple skater skirt, purple arm cuffs, gloves, removable wings and white high-tops, with a sleek ponytail and a purple headband. Opaque tights or fitted shorts underneath make sitting on the floor for photos a non-issue. On a skater dress, I attach the wing straps to a separate harness, never the dress itself, because the weight pulls a fitted bodice off-centre.
27. Skirt Buzz And Woody Costume

A skirt version feels current and keeps both palettes intact. Woody pairs a yellow plaid blouse with a high-waisted denim A-line skirt, cow-print vest, red scarf, sheriff badge, tan hat and brown boots, with a braided ponytail and warm freckles. Buzz wears a white long-sleeve top and white pleated skirt with a green waist panel, purple belt, wrist cuffs and compact foam wings, plus white tights on a cool night and white platform sneakers. White pleats show every crease from a car seat, so on a long drive I'd bring the skirt on a hanger and change on arrival. A smooth bun with a purple headband also sits better under the wing straps than loose hair, which tangles in them.
28. Jumpsuit Buzz And Woody Costume

Matching jumpsuits give the pair one clean silhouette, and they layer easily. Woody wears a denim boiler suit over a yellow plaid shirt with the top buttons open to show the red bandana, plus the cow-print vest, brown belt, star badge, hat and boots. Buzz wears a white utility jumpsuit with green chest and waist panels, purple collar details, colourful control patches, foam wrist cuffs and foldable fabric wings, with white high-tops. Before buying, sit down and reach overhead in it. A jumpsuit that's short in the body pulls at the crotch and shoulders however roomy it looks standing up. Rolled cuffs fix the length for shorter wearers without any sewing.
29. Athletic Buzz And Woody Costume

Sporty pieces make the duo breathable for anything active. Woody wears a yellow performance polo with a red grid drawn on, blue athletic pants, a light cow-print vest, a red sweatband tied as a neckerchief, brown trail sneakers and a bendable hat, with a high ponytail or neat short hair. Buzz combines a white compression shirt and joggers with a green running vest, purple wristbands and small fabric wings, plus white trainers and a purple sports headband. Stick to moisture-wicking fabrics and nothing that dangles. Coloured athletic tape makes quick control-panel details, but keep it on the clothes; on skin it pulls hair and irritates once sweat gets underneath.
30. Retro Buzz And Woody Costume

This one gives the toys a throwback twist with seventies shapes. Woody tucks a yellow checked camp-collar shirt into high-waisted flares, then adds a cropped cow-print vest, red neck scarf, big buckle, hat and platform-style boots, with feathered hair or a curled bob. Buzz wears a white zip-front jumpsuit with flared legs, bright green panels, a wide purple collar and rounded fabric wings, with white platforms, purple cuffs, a matching headband and silver-blue shadow. Bold geometric control buttons suit the era better than tiny technical details. Flares and platforms together can catch on stairs, so make sure the hem clears the floor by about a finger's width in the shoes you'll wear.
31. Glam Buzz And Woody Costume

A glam version can sparkle without turning into a costume you can't sit down in. Woody wears a satin yellow checked blouse, dark fitted jeans, a sequined cow-print vest, a red silky scarf, gold star badge, structured hat and glossy brown ankle boots, with smooth waves and precise freckles. Buzz wears a sleek white jumpsuit with metallic green panels, purple crystal-look trim, structured shoulders and iridescent wings, with white platforms, silver gloves, a purple headband and a foam wrist communicator. Face gems belong on the cheekbones, well away from the eyes. Sequins scratch the inside of the arm over a long night, so I line the vest armholes with a strip of soft bias binding. Keep the sparkle to a few signature spots and the colour stories stay easy to read.
32. Minimalist Buzz And Woody Costume

Minimalist versions boil each character down to a few colours and one or two accessories. Woody wears a solid yellow button-down, straight jeans, a slim cow-print vest, red bandana, brown hat, small star pin and clean brown boots, with just two or three freckles on each cheek. Buzz pairs a fitted white top and white trousers with a bright green vest, a purple scarf or headband and white sneakers, plus two small silver-and-purple panels on a compact backpack instead of full wings. One foam wrist cuff and a line of silver liner finish him. This version is handy for travel and busy venues, but it only works when the colours are saturated. Put Buzz in a pale sage vest and he simply disappears.
33. Park Friendly Buzz And Woody Costume

Theme-park days are long, so I plan this version around walking shoes and pieces that can't fall off. Woody wears a short-sleeve yellow checked shirt, stretch denim shorts or jeans, a light cow-print vest, red bandana, crushable hat and supportive walking boots, with a braid or a cut that sits under a cap. Buzz wears a white athletic shirt and light white pants with green and purple fabric panels, plus a slim hydration pack dressed up as wings instead of a wide rigid build. White walking sneakers, purple wristbands, a breathable headband and waterproof silver liner keep him wearable in the sun. Avoid masks that block side vision. Fix badges and control panels with snaps or strong fabric adhesive, because pinned pieces work loose on rides. Many parks set their own costume rules for adults, so check them before you plan anything.
34. Office Friendly Buzz And Woody Costume

At work, translate the characters rather than wearing them. Woody wears a yellow checked button-down with navy or denim-look trousers, a tailored cow-print vest, a small red neck scarf, a star brooch, brown loafers and a brown hat for the photos. Buzz wears a white blouse or collared shirt with white or pale grey trousers, a structured green vest, a purple neck scarf and clean white sneakers or loafers, plus a small control-panel pin and soft silver shadow. A compact wing backpack can hang on the back of a chair until the group photo. Leave gloves and big props at home; they get in the way of a keyboard and a coffee cup within the first hour.
35. Group Ready Buzz And Woody Costume

Start with a strong Buzz and Woody, then let friends or relatives join as other toys from the same box. Woody keeps the full kit of plaid shirt, cow-print vest, jeans, red bandana, badge, hat, pull-string prop and boots, with freckles. Buzz wears a white jumpsuit with green and purple panels, colourful controls, gloves, the purple hood, foldable wings and white sneakers, with brushed-back hair and silver around the eyes. Everyone else can coordinate in bright toy colours and simple shapes so the central pair still leads the photo. Matching removable name labels pull a mixed group together. In group shots, I stand Buzz at the end of the row rather than the middle, so his wings don't hide the person beside him.
Wings That Clear a Doorway and Survive a Hug
Buzz's wings cause more trouble than every other piece in this list combined. They get knocked in crowds, trapped in car doors and crushed when you sit. This is how I build a pair that lasts the whole night.
- Measure the narrowest door you'll walk through and keep the total span a hand's width narrower than that.
- Cut them from foam board, or from two layers of corrugated card glued with the corrugation running in opposite directions, which stops a single fold line forming.
- Hang them from an old backpack or a harness of wide elastic, never from the costume fabric. Backpack straps spread the weight across both shoulders.
- Tape each wing to the backpack along one edge only, so it hinges flat against the back for car rides and chairs.
- Paint the cardboard or tape over the edges if there's any chance of rain. Wet card goes soft and droops surprisingly fast.
Freckles, Silver Liner and a White Collar
The makeup in these looks is small, but it can ruin a white costume. Woody's freckles are easiest with a brown brow pencil or a washable face crayon, dotted on and then pressed with a fingertip so they look soft rather than drawn. A dusting of translucent powder on top keeps them in place through a warm room.
Buzz is trickier because everything near his face is white. Do the makeup before you step into the jumpsuit, and drape a towel over the collar if you touch up later. Glitter and loose metallic shadow migrate onto white fabric and are stubborn to wash out, so I'd use a cream liner set with powder instead. Patch-test any face paint on the inside of the wrist the day before, especially on children, and take it all off with an oil-based cleanser before bed.
Woody's Hat and Buzz's Wings Come First
Every version here works once the basics are in place: yellow plaid, denim, cow print, a red bandana and a brown hat for Woody, and white, lime green, purple, wings and a control panel for Buzz. After that, the right build depends on who's wearing it and where. Kids and toddlers need soft fabric wings and nothing that pinches. Pregnant wearers need stretch and steady shoes. A long park day needs pieces that are snapped on, not pinned. If I were making one adult pair from this list, I'd start with the closet build and put the effort into a good hat and a set of wings that fits through a door.
