Bratz style is easy to spot across a room: low-rise flares, cropped layers, a platform that adds three inches, and lips lined a shade darker than the gloss. Below are forty ways to wear it for a party, a campus night or a group photo, from the four core girls, Cloe, Yasmin, Jade and Sasha, to original doll-inspired looks you can pull from your own wardrobe. When I style a Bratz costume I think in proportions first and character second. Big hair, a tiny top, wide legs and heavy shoes do most of the work, and the makeup carries the rest.

Getting Doll Proportions From Ordinary Clothes
Bratz dolls have huge heads, tiny torsos and enormous feet, and the costume works when you copy that shape, not when you copy every accessory. I build it from the top and the bottom first and treat the middle as a short bridge between them.
- Shorten the top half. A cropped jacket or a top that ends at the natural waist makes the legs look longer, even if your jeans are high-rise.
- Widen the legs. Flares or bootcut jeans that cover most of the shoe give the doll's trumpet shape. Hem them for the platform you'll actually wear, or they drag.
- Make the feet heavy. The sole matters more than the height. A two-inch chunky sneaker reads as Bratz; a thin stiletto doesn't.
- Add volume at the head. Big waves, a high ponytail or a wig, plus large hoops, balance the shoes so you don't look bottom-heavy.
- Line the lips a shade darker than the gloss. It's the one makeup step that turns ordinary party makeup into a doll face.
Once those five things are in place, the character comes from color: blue for Cloe, brown and gold for Yasmin, black and plaid for Jade, and metallic gold for Sasha.
1. Cloe Denim Bratz Costume

Cloe is the blue-and-blonde one, so denim on denim is the fastest route: a fitted denim corset top, low-rise flared jeans and a cropped denim jacket on top. I try to match the washes closely, because a light jacket over dark jeans breaks the doll effect in photos. Platform sneakers or chunky white boots give the oversized feet. Wear long blonde waves with two thin braids at the front, icy blue shadow, a wing, and pink gloss inside a deeper pencil line. A tiny blue shoulder bag with iron-on stars, big hoops and tinted sunglasses finish her.
2. Yasmin Boho Bratz Costume

Yasmin is the easiest of the four to thrift. Look for a brown halter, bootcut jeans with embroidered flowers or contrast stitching, a cropped faux-suede vest and a wide belt with a round buckle. Brown platform boots give height, and I'd pick a block heel over a stiletto because she reads as relaxed, not dressy. Long brunette waves with a center part and two thin braids at the temples, bronze shadow, peach blush and caramel gloss do the doll face. Tie a silk scarf over the hair last and add gold hoops, bangles and a small fringed bag.
3. Jade Punk Bratz Costume

Jade is all about the plaid. A cropped black graphic tee goes over a fitted mesh long-sleeve, with a red plaid mini that has chains hanging from it. Black tights and knee-high platform boots keep it dramatic and still walkable. A long black wig with blunt bangs is the strongest signal; if you'd rather use your own hair, straighten it and pin in a few colored streaks. I keep the smoky eye charcoal rather than true black, which looks harsh under party lighting, and pair it with a sharp cat-eye and berry gloss. A studded bag or a fashion sketchbook and a cropped faux-leather jacket finish her off.
4. Sasha Hip-Hop Bratz Costume

Sasha's look comes from confidence, and in fabric terms that means gold. Pair a metallic gold crop top with loose camouflage cargos worn low, then add a cropped cream or caramel faux-fur jacket for warmth. The trap with this one is that it slides into everyday streetwear, so every piece needs a little polish. Platform sneakers or gold-trimmed ankle boots, a high ponytail with two sleek front sections and gold liner-heavy eyes help a lot. Brown-lined nude lips, big hoops, a nameplate-style necklace and a toy microphone or rhinestone headphones make it clearly Sasha.
5. Rock Angelz Cloe Bratz Costume

The Rock Angelz Cloe is a touring rock star in white, red and silver. Wear a white cropped tank, distressed bootcut jeans and a red faux-leather jacket, with a wide studded belt and silver platform boots. Tease the blonde hair for volume and add a couple of narrow braids or temporary red streaks. Silver shadow, black liner, lashes and rose gloss suit her. I'd carry a toy microphone or a backstage-style pass on a lanyard instead of a guitar case, which gets in the way in a crowd. She makes the most sense as one of a four-person Rock Angelz group.
6. Rock Angelz Yasmin Bratz Costume

Yasmin's rock version keeps her earthy palette and adds a little stage flash. A burgundy fitted top sits under a cropped brown jacket, with embellished flares and a wide metallic belt. Deep brown platform boots ground it. Style flowing brunette waves with a burgundy headband or a few tiny braids, and blend bronze into plum on the lids with dark liner and cinnamon gloss. Gold hoops and long pendants keep her bohemian. A ribboned tambourine is a fun prop, though I tape the jingles quiet for indoor parties, and a faux-fur-trimmed bag holds your phone and keys.
7. Rock Angelz Jade Bratz Costume

For Rock Angelz Jade, start with a fitted red-and-black top, black flared pants and a cropped faux-leather moto jacket, with a chain belt slung across the hips. Black platform boots with buckles or silver hardware match the jacket. Straighten long black hair and clip in bold red extensions you can take out at the end of the night. Smoky eyes, graphic liner and cherry gloss give the stage face. If you add a spiked bracelet, choose one with rounded studs; real points snag knit sleeves and other people's hair in a crowd. Rhinestone headphones or a toy microphone tie it to the music theme.
8. Rock Angelz Sasha Bratz Costume

Sasha's Rock Angelz outfit mixes stage glamour with streetwear. Wear a red cropped top, dark distressed flares and a fitted jacket trimmed in cream faux fur, with a silver chain belt and a few rhinestone details. I decide on the shoes by the evening's plan: black platform boots for a party where you'll stand, chunky sneakers if you'll be walking between houses. A high half-up ponytail with loose curls, warm metallic shadow, a wing and brown gloss suit her. Oversized hoops, layered silver chains and a toy microphone or decorated record sleeve finish it. She belongs next to Cloe, Jade and Yasmin in a group.
9. Forever Diamondz Cloe Bratz Costume

Forever Diamondz is about sparkle, and the hard part is spacing it. Choose a pale blue rhinestone crop top and white flares with crystal-like gems along the pockets, then add a cropped silver jacket or a fluffy white shrug. Silver platform heels or glitter boots keep the palette icy. I set the gems in loose clusters rather than solid rows, because solid rows look crowded and pop off when the fabric bends. Polished blonde waves with rhinestone clips at the temples, shimmering blue shadow, silver inner corners and high-shine pink lips suit Cloe. Carry an oversized costume gem or a jeweled compact.
10. Forever Diamondz Sasha Bratz Costume

Sasha's diamond look runs darker: burgundy, wine and gold. A fitted burgundy top with rhinestone trim, dark flared jeans and a cropped gold jacket form the base, with a wide embellished belt to mark the waist. Gold platform boots or chunky heels carry the metallic down to the floor. Wear long dark curls with crystal pins on one side, blend copper into wine on the lids and finish with a brown-plum gloss. Large gold hoops, a rhinestone choker and a tiny jeweled purse or oversized faux diamond keep it rich without hiding her energy.
11. Pretty N Punk Jade Bratz Costume

Pretty N Punk Jade needs tartan, black and heavy shoes. A white fitted tee under a cropped black vest, plaid bondage-style pants with straps and a short faux-leather jacket make the outfit. I check the straps on bondage pants before buying, because the cheap ones are only tacked at one end and flap loose by the end of the night. Tall buckled platform boots, long black hair with blunt bangs and removable green or red extensions read as Jade. Gray shadow, long black liner and mauve gloss keep the face playful rather than harsh. Add chains, hoops and a small plaid bag or a decorated travel booklet.
12. Pretty N Punk Cloe Bratz Costume

Cloe's punk outfit is the lighter, cuter take. A cropped white tank, a blue plaid mini and a fitted faux-leather jacket go with patterned tights and white platform combat boots. Wear the blonde hair in high pigtails with two curled pieces at the face, and add temporary blue streaks. Icy shadow, a dark wing and bubblegum gloss suit her. For the patches on her handbag, I use iron-on ones on a canvas bag and add a few hand stitches at the corners, since the glue alone tends to lift. A faux passport holder or a folded map makes an easy prop, and secondhand pieces work well here.
13. Pretty N Punk Sasha Bratz Costume

Sasha's punk version pairs black with rich red plaid. Start with a fitted burgundy crop top and high-waisted plaid shorts over opaque tights, then add a cropped black jacket with rounded studs or zip details. Tall lace-up platform boots are stable enough for a party. Two high buns with long curls framing the face, burgundy metallic shadow, a wing and a deep nude gloss give her the look. Hoops, a chain necklace and a plaid mini bag go on top. A studded belt pulls the plaid and the black together, and a fashion magazine or small camera works as a prop.
14. Pretty N Punk Yasmin Bratz Costume

Yasmin goes punk in earth tones. Wear a fitted olive top, a brown-and-red plaid mini and a cropped faux-suede jacket with black trim. Patterned tights and brown lace-up platforms are practical on a cool night. A soft newsboy cap over loose brunette waves, plus a few thin braids, keeps her bohemian. Blend bronze with a muted green on the lids, then dark liner, peach blush and caramel gloss. I keep the jewelry gold here, since silver chains fight with the brown palette. A chain belt, stacked bracelets and a plaid shoulder bag with travel patches finish it.
15. Bratz Genie Costume

A genie costume shows the fantasy side of Bratz and needs no complicated pieces. A turquoise cropped halter, flowing purple harem pants and a sheer overskirt tied at the hip make the base, with gold platform sandals or closed-toe platforms. Wrap a high bubble ponytail with gold ribbon at even intervals. Purple and turquoise shadow with a long wing and berry gloss suit the colors. Add a jeweled headband, hoops, bangles and a small decorative bottle, but skip anything that looks like religious or ritual dress and keep it storybook. A few tiny rhinestones at the outer corners of the eyes finish the doll face.
16. Bratz Princess Costume

For a Bratz princess, choose a short lavender dress with a fitted bodice and a layered tulle skirt, then add a cropped faux-fur shrug and rhinestone platform heels. Any hair color works with long curls and a small tiara. I pin the tiara with two bobby pins crossed in an X behind each comb, because a tiara on curled hair slides back within an hour. Lilac shadow, lashes, blush and pink lips with a darker pencil keep the doll face. Crystal earrings, a heart necklace, a tiny structured bag and a chain belt or butterfly clips turn royal into Y2K. A glitter scepter with rounded ends is the prop.
17. Bratz Cat Costume

A cat costume fits Jade's dark style. Wear a fitted black mock-neck, a pleated mini, opaque tights and knee-high platform boots, with a cropped jacket that has faux-fur cuffs. Long straight black hair or a blunt-bang wig sits under a rhinestone cat-ear headband. Draw a small nose and thin whiskers with liner, then add smoky shadow and berry gloss. Attach a narrow tail with a safety pin through the waistband plus a few stitches, because tails pinned once tend to swing and drag. I'd skip paw gloves; you'll want your hands for drinks and your phone, and they ruin manicured photos.
18. Bratz Bee Costume

A bee costume becomes a Bratz look with fitted separates: a black-and-yellow striped crop top, a short black pleated skirt over opaque tights, a fuzzy cropped jacket with yellow trim and black platform ankle boots. Wear a high curled ponytail and a glittery antenna headband. Gold shadow, bold liner and honey gloss keep it warm. For wings, I choose small sheer ones on elastic loops that sit close to the shoulder blades; big wire wings bump other guests and bend in a car. A yellow bag with a flower charm, hoops and a rhinestone belt add the sparkle.
19. Bratz Mermaid Costume

The mermaid look here is built for walking on land. Wear an iridescent fitted top with a turquoise sequin maxi that flares at the hem, and check that you can climb a stair in it before the night. Sequin skirts also scratch the inner arm, so I usually wear a sleeve or shrug on top. Metallic platform sandals or closed-toe glitter boots go underneath. Glossy waves with removable blue and purple extensions, aqua and lilac shadow and pearly highlight suit the theme. Shell clips, pearl-look necklaces, a metallic mini bag and a handheld mirror are easier than a bulky prop, and a sheer scale-print shrug adds coverage.
20. Bratz Fairy Costume

A Bratz fairy pairs light wings with bold Y2K clothes. Wear a pastel corset-style top, a layered mini skirt and glittery tights, with a cropped fuzzy cardigan for warmth. Iridescent platform sneakers or ankle boots last longer than thin heels. Soft waves with butterfly clips and two front braids, pink and lavender shimmer, a wing and gloss make the face. Narrow wings that attach firmly at the shoulders are the right choice for crowded rooms. I use a body-safe glitter gel on the cheeks rather than loose glitter, which ends up on everyone you hug. Carry a flower-topped wand with rounded edges.
21. Bratz Cowgirl Costume

The Bratz cowgirl pairs a rhinestone-trimmed halter with low-rise flares and a cropped faux-suede vest. Add a glittering belt with a big buckle and tall platform western boots. A fitted white, pink or brown cowboy hat signals the theme, and it only works if it fits; a loose hat tips forward the moment you laugh. Curls or two low braids sit under it well. Bronze shadow, a sharp wing and nude-pink gloss suit the look. Carry a small fringed bag instead of realistic western gear, and on a cool night add a cropped jacket with fringe across the back.
22. Bratz Cheerleader Costume

A cheer costume brings out the sporty side of Bratz. Wear a fitted cropped shell and a pleated skirt in one color story, with a varsity letter or star patch on the front and shorts underneath for movement. Knee socks and platform sneakers give the doll finish. Tie a high ponytail with an oversized ribbon and leave two curled pieces out. Match the shadow to the uniform, then add a black wing, bright blush and gloss. Two lightweight pom-poms, hoops, rhinestone clips and a tiny belt bag finish it. I'd pick your own colors rather than a real team's, so it reads as Bratz and not a borrowed uniform.
23. Bratz Soccer Costume

This is the comfortable one. Turn a soccer kit into a Bratz costume with a fitted cropped jersey over a matching tank and a pleated athletic skirt or loose shorts. Striped knee socks and chunky platform sneakers look sporty and are easy to walk in. Pull long hair into a high ponytail with a wide headband. Shimmering neutral shadow, a wing and pink or brown gloss keep it soft. Rhinestone jersey numbers add the doll effect; I use hot-fix stones on cotton jerseys, but on shiny polyester they lift, so I glue those with fabric glue instead. A foam ball and a cropped zip-up warm-up jacket for a cold October night finish it.
24. Bratz Tennis Costume

A preppy tennis outfit turns into Bratz with big shoes and shiny accessories. Wear a cropped polo, a pleated mini with fitted shorts underneath and a slim cardigan tied over the shoulders. White platform sneakers and ribbed ankle socks exaggerate the silhouette. A high curled ponytail and a wide pastel headband keep the hair sporty. Soft green or pink shadow, crisp liner, peach blush and high-shine gloss suit it. Wrap the handle of a costume racket in colored ribbon and add hoops, a rhinestone bracelet and a small bag. I stick to two pastels at most so it looks styled rather than random.
25. Bratz Slumber Party Costume

The slumber party costume is the cozy pick of the list. Wear satin button-front pajamas with flared pants, or a fitted sleep tee with fuzzy lounge trousers, plus a fluffy robe in a matching pastel. Choose a robe without feathers, because those shed onto every chair. Platform slippers with proper soles give the big-feet look; I'd check the soles before going outdoors, since many are only felt. Hair can go in large rollers, a high ponytail or glossy waves under a plush headband. Party-ready shimmer, lashes, blush and gloss keep it a costume. Carry a pillow-shaped bag and wear a rhinestone sleep mask pushed up on the forehead.
26. Bratz Wintertime Costume

The winter Bratz costume is built for cold weather. Pair a cropped turtleneck with a metallic mini over thick tights, then add a faux-fur-trimmed puffer and knee-high platform boots. Loose curls go under a fluffy bucket hat or matching earmuffs. Frosty silver or blue shadow, precise liner, cool pink blush and shiny mauve lips fit the palette. Snowflake clips and a small faux-fur handbag add sparkle. For a prop, a paper takeaway cup or decorative skates carried by their laces work well. I keep the palette icy and avoid red and green, otherwise it reads as a holiday outfit.
27. Bratz Beach Party Costume

A beach-party Bratz look needs more cover than swimwear, especially on an October night. Wear a fitted tropical-print tank with low-rise white capris and a sheer button-front shirt knotted at the waist. Platform sandals with ankle straps keep the summer silhouette, and the straps matter because slides fly off platforms. Glossy beach waves with tiny braids and flower clips, turquoise shadow, bronzed cheeks and coral gloss fit the theme. Oversized sunglasses, hoops, a bright shoulder bag and a woven tote or mini inflatable ball are the props. A colorful scarf tied around the hips adds movement and makes it look deliberate at an indoor party.
28. Bratz Prom Costume

A Bratz prom look needs sparkle and a big silhouette. A fitted satin mini over a sheer glitter top works, as does a rhinestone-trimmed high-low dress that moves when you walk. Metallic platform heels with sturdy straps and a cropped faux-fur shrug finish the outfit. Style a voluminous half-updo with curled tendrils and rhinestone barrettes. Jewel-toned shadow, bold lashes and deeply lined glossy lips carry the doll face, while a tiny tiara, drop earrings and a crystal choker add glamour. A mini bouquet and a satin bag are easy props. A homemade sash with a fun title such as Best Dressed is the detail people read from across the room.
29. Bratz Masquerade Costume

The masquerade look mixes ballroom drama with doll fashion. Wear a fitted jewel-toned corset-style top, a layered high-low skirt, opaque tights and platform ankle boots, with a cropped velvet jacket or satin shrug for coverage. Style a high curled ponytail with rhinestone pins. Blend a metallic shadow matched to the top, then add sharp liner and berry gloss. I always choose a mask on a stick rather than one tied on, because a tied mask presses on lashes and smudges the makeup you spent an hour on. Keep the mask colorful and simple so it doesn't hide the doll features, and add crystal earrings, a choker and a small structured bag.
30. Bratz Alien Costume

Bratz proportions suit an alien with metallic Y2K clothes. Wear a silver fitted crop top, iridescent flared pants and a short holographic jacket with white or silver platform boots. Two high ponytails or space buns with temporary lavender extensions give the shape. Pale metallic shadow, an exaggerated wing, pearly highlight and lavender gloss make the face. Small adhesive face gems around the eyes hold best on skin that's free of moisturizer, so I wipe the spot with a little toner first. A translucent hoop, a metallic belt, a clear mini bag and a light antenna headband keep it playful rather than eerie.
31. Bratz Pop Star Costume

The pop star look starts with a rhinestone crop top and matching flared pants. Add a cropped faux-fur jacket or a metallic bolero that catches the camera flash, and choose platform boots in the outfit's main color so the leg looks long. A high ponytail with curled ends and sparkly extensions carries the hair. Bold metallic shadow, graphic liner, big lashes and gloss suit the stage theme. A rhinestone toy microphone is the prop that makes the character, with hoops, layered necklaces and a backstage pass clipped at the waist. Pick one strong color, such as hot pink or gold, and build around it.
32. Bratz Fashion Designer Costume

This one celebrates Jade's love of fashion. Wear a fitted black turtleneck, a plaid mini, patterned tights and platform ankle boots, plus a cropped blazer with contrasting trim and a belt at the hips. Straight black hair with blunt bangs points to Jade, and colored streaks add personality. Smoky shadow, long liner and plum gloss finish her. As a sewist's detail, I like a real tape measure around the neck and a felt pincushion bracelet; both read instantly, and neither has sharp tools. Fill a sketchbook with a few of your own outfit drawings and add silver hoops and a structured mini bag.
33. Bratz Magazine Editor Costume

The magazine editor costume comes from the Bratz fashion-magazine storyline. Wear a fitted graphic baby tee, low-rise pinstriped pants and a cropped blazer in a bright color, with pointed platform ankle boots. Sleek glossy hair with a center part or a high curled ponytail both work. Neutral shimmer, a precise cat-eye, sculpted blush and brown-lined pink gloss keep it polished. Make a homemade magazine cover, carry a clipboard and a rhinestone phone, and pin a press badge to the blazer so the role is obvious. I keep the colors bright, since navy and black make it look like real office clothes.
34. Bratz Runway Model Costume

A runway model lets you invent your own Bratz girl instead of copying a doll. Choose a dramatic matching set, such as a corset-style top and flared pants in bright faux leather, and add a cropped coat with faux-fur cuffs and tall platform boots. Faux leather doesn't breathe, so I'd save it for a cool evening or wear a cotton layer underneath. Hair should move when you walk: a long sleek ponytail or big waves. Graphic shadow, crisp liner, strong blush and lacquered lips with a darker pencil suit the runway. Carry a mini portfolio or an invitation card, and practice one confident full-body pose for photos.
35. Bratz Y2K School Costume

The school outfit uses playful preppy pieces, not a real uniform. Wear a fitted collared top under a cropped sweater vest with a plaid pleated skirt and shorts underneath. Knee socks and platform loafers give the classic Bratz proportions. Two low ponytails, a half-up style or waves with butterfly clips all work. Pastel shadow, a black wing, rosy cheeks and pink gloss keep the face soft. A mini backpack and a notebook covered in fashion stickers are the props, and a charm bracelet adds Y2K detail. I'd base it on one main color, purple for example, which also suits school-friendly Halloween events.
36. Bratz Group Costume

A four-person group works when each friend owns a palette. Put Cloe in blue denim, Yasmin in brown bohemian layers, Jade in black plaid and Sasha in gold-accented streetwear. Every girl wears chunky platforms, big hoops and a small shoulder bag. Match the hair to the dolls: blonde waves for Cloe, brunette curls for Yasmin, straight black hair for Jade and a high dark ponytail for Sasha. When I style a group, the shared makeup is what ties it together, so agree on one wing shape and one lip-liner method before the night. Each friend can carry a magazine, sketchbook, microphone or camera.
37. Bratz Best Friends Duo Costume

For a duo, choose two contrasting but coordinated looks. One person wears a light blue denim corset, flared jeans and white platform boots; the other wears a black graphic top, a plaid mini and black platform boots. Blonde waves on the first and straight dark hair with blunt bangs on the second make the pair read as Cloe and Jade. Both wear winged liner, lashes, blush and outlined gloss, with matching hoops and tiny bags in opposite colors. I'd make the shoe shape identical even if the colors differ, because the matching platforms tie the pair together in photos. Magazines or rhinestone phones are simple props.
38. Easy DIY Bratz Costume

Short on time? Most closets hold a Bratz costume already. Wear a fitted baby tee, low-rise flares and a cropped jacket in denim, faux leather or faux fur, with the chunkiest platforms you can walk in. A center part, a high ponytail or two face-framing braids handle the hair. Most of the change happens in the makeup: colorful shadow, an extended black liner, visible blush and gloss lined in brown or mauve. I'd add big hoops, tinted sunglasses, a shoulder bag and a wide belt. A homemade fashion magazine with your own title on the cover makes the idea clear, and the formula works with any palette or hair length.
39. Plus Size Bratz Costume

For a plus size Bratz costume I aim for doll proportions in fabrics that move with you, not an exact copy of one garment. A fitted stretch top with high-rise flares or a pleated skirt and a cropped jacket that marks the waist is a strong base. High-rise flares give the same long-leg line as low-rise ones, and they stay put when you sit down. Stable platform boots or cushioned chunky sneakers carry you through the night. Long waves, a sleek ponytail or colorful clip-ins, plus a wing, shimmer, blush and outlined gloss, give the doll effect. Add big hoops, a wide belt, a mini bag and a sketchbook or rhinestone compact.
40. Last-Minute Bratz Costume

The last-minute version is all about one color story. Pick a fitted crop top or baby tee, flared jeans and any short jacket you own, then add platform sneakers, chunky boots or the boldest comfortable shoes you have. Brush hair into a high ponytail or wear it long and straight, with two front pieces held back by glitter clips. One bright shadow across the lid, an extended liner, generous blush and a darker lip liner under clear gloss do the doll face in about fifteen minutes. Oversized hoops, tinted sunglasses, a belt and a tiny purse set the Y2K tone. A paper magazine or a decorated phone case is enough of a prop.
Platforms You Can Stand In Until Midnight
Almost every look above depends on chunky shoes, and most costume regrets come from the shoes. A flatform, where the sole is the same height under heel and toe, is far easier to wear than a platform with a steep heel. I try new platforms at home for an hour on a hard floor before the party. If the toes start to burn, a gel insole at the ball of the foot usually fixes it.
Check two more things before you go. Ankle straps or laces keep a tall sole from rolling, and stairs are where an unsecured platform fails. A smooth plastic sole is also slippery on wet pavement, so if you'll be outside, roughen the bottom with sandpaper or choose a rubber-soled pair.
Doll Hair Without Bleach or Permanent Dye
You don't need to change your own hair color to wear any of these. A long synthetic wig is the quickest way to become blonde Cloe or blunt-banged Jade. Brush it gently with a wide-tooth comb before wearing, since cheap wigs shed and tangle at the nape. Keep it away from curling irons and oven doors: most synthetic fiber frizzes or melts with heat unless the label says heat-safe.
For streaks, clip-in extensions are the cleanest option and come out in seconds. Colored hair chalk and temporary sprays work on light hair, but they rub onto collars and faux fur, so I'd keep them away from a white jacket. If you only want to add volume, a clip-in ponytail on top of your own pulled-back hair gives Sasha's high pony with very little effort.
The Bratz Girl I'd Dress First
If I had one evening to put a Bratz costume together, I'd start with Cloe in denim, because most of it is already in a closet and the blue shadow does the rest. From there the list covers the four core girls, fantasy themes, sporty looks, groups and quick closet builds. Whichever you choose, build the clothing base first, then repeat the signature details: platforms, long styled hair, hoops, colored shadow and lined gloss. A small prop such as a magazine or microphone helps people place the character. Wear what fits you well, because a doll costume only works when you can stand tall in it all night.
